This painting is of a swampy river setting located in SE area of South Carolina.

This painting is located in a deep forest setting with a bright sunrise starting to show through.

This painting shows the Cypress trees and stumps lining the edge of the Atchafalaya Basin River. This river is West of the Mississippi River in South Louisiana. This river is a Souther extention of the Red River from Texas.  If nature would have had it's way, the Mississippi River would have changed directions and bypassed Baton Rouge & New Orleans.

The swamp areas in Souther Louisiana are a lot different than those in Florida.  They have a lot of different wild life and are more remote and rough.  Painting completed from photos of the area.

This painting shows the Western Lake, located near Watercolor, Florida. The lake is located in the panhandle area at the edge of the swamps.

Still provides and nice setting for small boating and fishing. Not sure of the swimming along the banks with the Alligators located in the area.

The painting is a nice setting in the Everglades.  The painting captured the rich colors of Lake Butler back waters in Florida.

It has a new dock for the kids to fish from, but wouldn't advise swimming,to many Alligators in these waters.
